Farewell Redford White

Comedian actor Redford White took his final bow today as he succumbed to brain and lung cancer. Redford White or Cipriano M. Cermeno II, who was known as the American and Caucasian looking actor who was remembered for his role in Buddy en Sol had been one of the foundations of Philippine comedy.

Redford White's antics had made many people laugh and remember him. His last spotlight on television was for the ABS-CBN TV series Kokey. Redford passed away at the age of 54.

His last visitors before his death today was fellow actor and partner in Buddy en Sol, Eric Quezon. Ces Quesada and Leo Martinez also visited him. The three was particularly sad because when they visited Redford White, it was clear that it will be the last time that they will see him.

The wake for Redford White will be held at his home, near the Sto. Nino de Maligaya Shrine in Novaliches.
