Now is the Time to Take Action... We are in Danger!

April 22 will again be another EARTH DAY for everyone. The thing is we should all go beyond the hype and the celebration of earth day and switch into making that much needed action to start making a difference for our planet. Many people join the hype and become an earth saver just on April 22 but what about the whole year round?

What's happening right now? Should we really care? Well read on and see the images of what could happen to the whole world if we do not act now...

If we do not realize these warnings this is the reality which we should face in the future...

Will we wait for this to happen? We need to act on climate change or else it would be too late for us to do so. But what do we do? How can we help in our own simple way?

Here are some ways...

1. Reduce the use of plastic and if you can do not use it. When you are buying in supermarket ask for paper bags or buy your own bag which you can use in shopping. Avoid double plastic use. Recycle the plastic that you have already used.
2. Use Mass Transport. Using mass transport is better than buying or using your own car daily unless you own a hybrid car.
3. Reduce Your Garbage. Reduce the garbage that you throw everyday and try to recycle those which can be recycled.
4. Segregate. Segregate your waste. Proper disposal of waste is a must in saving the Earth.
5. Conserve Energy. Use only energy and power that you need and turn-off unnecessary energy users.
6. Use Energy-efficient Equipment. Use energy efficient electronic appliances and light bulbs.
7. Promote Renewable Energy. Promote and use renewable and environmental friendly energy like solar, wind and hydro power.
8. Protect Bodies of Water. Avoid throwing garbage at bodies of water and protect them against those polluting them.
9. Spread Environmental Love. Spread environmental awareness and make others understand the importance of saving the Earth.
10. Support Organizations with Environmental Advocacies. Join and participate in organizations that protects the environment. Brotherhood of Destiny (BROOD) is one of them as well as GreenPeace, Youth for Sustainable Development Assembly and many more...
