Christmas Message from Children of the World 2000
JOY TO THE WORLD! It's a message that has rung out down the centuries. Whether in times of peace or war, boom or bust, storm or shine, December 25th has never failed to dawn----and with it the message of hope and goodwill to all of humanity, through the powerful reminder that a Saviour was born to bless the world for all time.It is an occasion where we take stock of the previous 12 months and wish for a more peaceful world during the coming year.
I use this Christian holiday to outreach to all faiths and declare that my neighbour is humanity and the message will always be the same for me and there is always hope for us all.
I also use Chanukkah, Diwali, Eid and occasions that are very sacred to others in the human family to spread the message which is the same whatever God you worship or whatever culture you are from.
There are these words which spring to my mind Joy & Promise which bring comfort to everyone who are going through tough times when suffering is very prevalent in our own country and overseas.
I leave you to compose your thoughts during this time and pray with me for a peaceful 2009 hoping that all will prosper and be fulfilled.
