Most Adults is Ignorant of Twitter
A recent survey published on the LA Times reports that 69% of adults are ignorant about Twitter. The LA Times cites a LinkedIn Research Network/Harris Poll which places majority of adults not to know the microblogging tool. The survey involves 2,025 adults. Twitter had been a phenomenal microblogging tool which was used by almost everyone including celebrities, politicians and the youth but yet it is surprising that this survey seems to bring out a new perspective.

- Of 1,015 advertisers surveyed, 17% didn't know much about the microblogging service.
- 50% of advertisers surveyed said they expected Twitter to experience a huge growth in the next few years.
- 20% felt Twitter was only for young people.
- Only 12% of consumers surveyed said Twitter use would grow in the coming years, and an equal percent felt only young people used Twitter.
