Alec Baldwin vs Joe Lieberman in 2012?

It seems that Alec Baldwin is setting his eyes on Connecticut to battle for the senate race in 2012 against independent Senator Joe Lieberman. Lieberman however, the widely supported and Democrat turned Republican supporter is unworried of the challenge to him. "Make my day!" was all he can say to Baldwin who on the other hand said that he has "no use" for the independent senator.

Lieberman addressed the issue Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union." He says that he respects the "30 Rock" star as an actor and comedian.

Races in the upcoming 2012 elections are turning out to be quite interesting. Who else will be challenged? How about Arnold? Will someone be brave enough to defeat the Terminator and terminate the burden of his state?
