Ang Darling Kong Aswang Seen as Top Grosser for 35th MMFF

If the long lines in SM City Baliwag would be the main indication of the length of people wanted to watch "Ang Darling Kong Aswang" it would be a sure Box Office and top grosser. "Ang Darling Kong Aswang" is one of the Official Entries to the Metro Manila Film Festival which stars Box Office maker Vic Sotto with Kristine Reyes.

All of the seats were taken and you see a long line of people about 300-400 lining up to get their chance to watch the movie. Others who cannot wait have to pick 3 other films also showing at SM City Baliwag. These films were "Shake, Rattle and Roll XI", Dolphy's "Nobody, Nobody but Juan" and "Mano Po 6: A Mother's Love" which starts Sharon Cuneta.

Vic Sotto's film had been the constant top grosser of every Metro Manila Film Festival except for one time when the movie of now husband and wife, Judy Ann Santos and Ryan Agoncillo out-grossed them.

"Ang Darling Kong Aswang" is a movie which takes on the love between a mortal and an aswang. Kristine Reyes plays the role of an aswang. Vic says that this is not based on the top grossing U.S. Film Twilight Saga since Aswang is very different from vampires.
