Ronnie James Dio DIes at 67

At first it was a rumor then it becomes apparent that indeed it was a premonition of what will happen. He is officially confirmed dead at 7:45am of May 16, 2010. Ronnie James Dio's death is officially confirmed by his wife Wendy by a posting at the singers official website.

Earlier, Wendy did also confirm that Ronnie James was allowed. This is also the reason why in our previous posting we concluded that Ronnie James Dio is indeed alive.

Here is the official statement of Wendy Dio at www.ronniejamesdio.com:

“Today my heart is broken, Ronnie passed away at 7:45am 16th May. Many, many friends and family were able to say their private good-byes before he peacefully passed away. Ronnie knew how much he was loved by all. We so appreciate the love and support that you have all given us. Please give us a few days of privacy to deal with this terrible loss. Please know he loved you all and his music will live on forever.”

During the last few days he had been very unhealthy and was confined in the hospital. AT the hospital he undergone heavy chemotherapy sessions for his stomach cancer. Dio was a strong man and was able to battle his stomach cancer for quite a while until his body finally succumbs.
