Lakers vs Celtics Game 6: Kendrick Perkins Injured
Losing by 22 points at Lakers vs Celtics Game 6, 89-67 seems to be not enough a tragedy for the Boston Celtics. During the same game their center Kendrick Perkins suffered a knee injury which might result in his non-appearance in their crucial Game 7 game against the Los Angeles Lakers.
The game was briefly halted and Perkins was escorted by his team mates to the locker room. Later on he had his knee X-rayed revealing that indeed he suffered from a right knee injury. The doctor examining Perkins said that he was yet unsure on how extensive is Perkins injury and will re-evaluate him later Wednesday.
However, Perkins in an interview just as he exited the locker room was very determined to play for Game 7. "I will try and give it a go," Perkins said to ESPN's Richh Bucher who caught up with him in the locker room.
