Emmy Nominations 2010 Released
The 2010 Daytime Emmy Nominations was just released today. Looking at the nominations it seems to big a big Emmy for Glee, Lost, and Coco. Lost got a bunch of nomination for their final season while Glee get also on the awards column. Both of these shows have a lot of supportive and dedicated viewership.
The Emmy nominations revealed today will be for the 62nd Annual Prime Time Emmy Awards and winners will be announced on August 29 during the awarding ceremony.
The Best Drama Series nomination includes two heavy weights ABC's Lost and HBO's True Blood. Both of this shows had been very good and they have quite a cult following. I am a little siding with Lost since I am an avid fan of the series whose sixth season ended last May.
Glee is nominated as Best Comedy Series, however it seems it would be a difficult situation since like them their biggest competitor "The Office" from NBC; and "30 Rock," also from NBC.are both favored and nominated to win this category.
Meanwhile for the Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Series, "Saturday Night Live" is a heavy favorite. The competition for the award of Outstanding Reality-Competition Program looks pretty tough as the very popular reality programs 'The Amazing Race, American Idol, Dancing With the Stars, and Project Runway compete for the award.
