Glee Season 2 Premiers September 21; Charice Rivals Rachel
The phenomenal musical TV series Glee will begin its Second Season in September 21, 2010 over Fox and it will showcase Charice Pempengco as the newest addition to the cast of the multi-awarded series. Charice will be playing the role of a foreign exchange student who will become the pierce rival of Rachel.
Glee Second Season will air in the 8/7c timeslot on Tuesdays. A special Glee episode will also air after Super Bowl XLV on February 6, 2011, and the show will then make its spring premiere on Wednesdays at 9/8c, following American Idol.
There were also talks for the possible extension of the series from 22 episodes to 25 episodes. Meanwhile, the planned Glee Season 2 season finale will end with the national show choir competition taking place in New York City.
The second season will start with an episode entitled "Audition." This episode will probably show Charice's character auditioning for the Glee Club. The second episode after that will be a Britney Spears episode, another episode entitled, "The Power of Madonna" featuring six Madonna songs is on the works.
The following stars are expected to make their appearance on Glee Season 2: Courtney Love, Billy Joel, and Led Zeppelin.
