Inception Tops Weekend Box Office; Despicable Me in Second
Weekend Box Office (July 16-18, 2010 US) Full List - Christopher Nolan's film, Inception which starts Leonardo Dicaprio rake in a total of $60.4 million to take the top spot in this weeks box office. Despicable Me, which is also an original film came at second with $32.7 million. Despicable Me already earned a total of $118,365,000 in two weeks, already above its $69million budget.
Inception is about a team that sneaks into people's dreams and steals them but later on they just have to do the opposite and this time implant a memory into someone's dream.

This is DiCaprio's second biggest opening weekend after "Shutter Island" which topped at $41.1 million. Inception however falls short of the expectations of Warner Bros and director Christopher Nolan. His best record so far is with "The Dark Knight" which opened during the same weekend and hit $158.4 million.
