Linday Lohan Starts 90-Day Jail Sentence
Lindsay Lohan Goes to Jail - The tale of the mean girl had finally reached the point where she have to spend some time in isolation prison and pay for her crimes. Linday Lohan just did that today as she officially starts her 90-day jail sentence for violation of her probation on two 2007 drunk-driving and cocaine possession charges..
Lindsay Lohan surrendered to the Beverly Hills Court earlier and after a short hearing she was handcuffed and escorted into an all-femaile jail in South Los Angeles.
The media had the chance to see a live feed of the arrest and detention of Lindsay Lohan through local TV news helicopters. The live vide shows Lohan's journey, an unmarked car with tinted windows, to the 2,200-bed Century Regional Detention Facility.
Hoever, the jail administrators say that Lindsay Lohan would probably just spend about 2-3 weeks in jail and spend the rest of her sentence in a rehabilitation facility.
"She scared as anyone would be...and she's resolute. She does her time just like anyone else," says Shawn Chapman Holley, Lohan;s new lawyer.
The detention cell of Lindsay Lohan is a 12 ft by 8 ft (nine square-meter) cell and she will be staying alone in the cell for her own safety.
Lindsay Lohan will be part of the upcoming movie Machete which will be shown on September 3. In this film she plays the role of a socialite with a penchant for guns. It will be distributed by 20th Century Fox.
