The US$500,000 Carrie Underwood Wedding

Carrie Underwood Wedding was concluded today at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation. Underwood is getting married with her boyfriend, hockey player Mike Fisher. The wedding ceremony had been ensured to be as private as possible.

The two couples rented out more than 250 rooms for celebrity guests including stars like Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul and members of Fisher's team the Ottawa Senators.

The road leading to the hotel is also closed for traffic during the duration of the wedding. Reporters had been very minimal and interviews had been shut down.

Reports says that the Carrie Underwood Wedding costs $500,000. The cost is mostly due to the hotel rent and the full renting of the place to ensure serenity of the wedding and full security preparation.

Carrie Underwood and her husband Mike Fisher will be spending their wedding night in the Ritz's 5,400-square-foot Presidential House, a place that former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush have visited. The lakeside retreat is a three-story cottage with four master bedroom suites and a great room that opens onto a private heated outdoor pool overlooking the shores of Lake Oconee.
