Marquez vs Diaz Boxing Results (with Undercard Results)
Juan Manuel Marquez and Juan Diaz once again faced each other at Las Vegas, Nevada for a rematch of their fight last February 2009. During that match, Marquez came back on the ninth round and delivered the knockout blow to Juan Diaz. This match will be a retribution and Juan Manuel Marquez's WBO and WBA titles are on the line.
It was a fierce fight during the first half of the match as Diaz and Marquez square off in the ring and exchanges jabs and blows. Juan Diaz claimed Round 2 and Round 3 and delivered a blow which delivers a swelling under Marquez's right eye.
However, Juan Marquez proved that he is the better fighter of the two and since Round 4 he did not allow Juan Diaz to gain the upper hand. The match between the two stretched into Round 12 but it was too late for Juan Diaz to at least knockout Marquez.
Juan Manuel Marquez won by unanimous decision, 118-110 (Jerry Roth (116-112), Glenn Trowbridge (118-110), Patricia Morse Jarman (117-111), all for Marquez.)

Pirog vs Jacobs: Dmitry Pirog (17-0, 14 KOs), of Temryuk, Russia, by fifth round knockout over Daniel Jacobs (20-1, 17 KOs), of Brooklyn, NY, at 1:57 of the round for the vacant WBO middleweight (160 pounds) title.
