Abbott Similac Recall
Abbot Similac Recall - Abbott announced the recall of its Similac baby formula after discover of beetles in one of their manufacturing facilities. Abbot says that the Similar recall is based on their assumption that there might be a "remote possibility" that they may contain small insect parts and beetle larvae.
The Similac recall will affect about 5 million Similac Baby powder formulas sold in the U.S., Puerto Rico, Guam and some Caribbean countries. The Similac recall however, does not affect any liquid formulas or other Abbott-brand products.
