Metro Manila Film Festival 2010: Ang Tanging Ina Mo Rin (Last Na 'To!)

Ai-Ai delas Alas and Eugene Domingo plus their whole bunch of family had bee once again a part of the Metro Manila Film Festival for the third straight year. The 2010 MMFF however seems to be the luckiest year for the Ang Tanging Ina Mo series since it won major awards including Best Picture, Best Actress for Ai-Ai delas Alas, Best Director for Wenn Deramas, and Best Story for Mel Del Rosario.

Ang Tanging Ina follows the story of a big family with single parent, Ina Montecillo together with her bestfriend, Rowena. This is to be the last and final installment of the film and majority of the original cast reunites.

Cast includes: Juan Montecillo (Marvin Agustin), Getrudis "Tudis" Montecillo (Nikki Valdez), Dimitri "Tri" Montecillo (Carlo Aquino), Tirso "Pip" Montecillo (Alwyn Uytingco), Sixto "Six" Montecillo (Marc Acueza), Severina "Seven" Montecillo (Shaina Magdayao), Catherine "Cate" Montecillo (Serena Dalrymple), Samuel "Shammy" Montecillo (Jiro Manio), Martin "Ten-Ten" Montecillo (Yuuki Kadooka), Connie & Sweet Montecillo (Bianca & Janelle Calma), and Monay Montecillo (Xyriel Manabat) - Pip's daughter.



Ang Tanging Ina Mo Rin (Last Na 'To!) also won Best Supporting Actress for Eugene Domingo, Gender Sensitivity Award, Best Child Performer for Zyril Manabat, and Best Musical Score for Jesse Lazatin.

We have watched the previous two installment and I would agree that Ai-Ai's performance in this movie is very well rounded and she deserves the Best Actress award.
