Naruto Cosplayers PH, a cosplay group which had been spearheading cause-oriented cosplay activities to support various advocacy had conducted a Cosplay for a Cause at SM City Baliwag. The activity was launched together with the official launching of Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon sponsored by
SM City Baliwag, July 2.
"SM City Baliwag Cosplay Challenge: Cosplay Transform" is an event of
SM City Baliwag and
Naruto Cosplayers PH (NCPH). More than 100 cosplayers attended and among them four joined the Transformers Cosplay Competition and 59 joined the open category Cosplay Competition.

Other sponsors of the event includes Devangelic Cosplay Shop, My Little Prince Shop, Hatah Hatah, Osaka Treasures, Ynnok's Dress Shop, Sarabia Optical, and Ruzvenland Online. SM City Baliwag provided the cash prizes for the winners which includes Best Male, Best Female, Best Child and Best Mecha/Armored-type.

The SM City Baliwag event center had been full packed with people watching the cosplay competition and event. It was the first time that such an event had been well received in an area not that close to Metro Manila. Judges for the event includes Archie Belardo of Osaka Treasures; Nathaniel Cruz, a multi-competition cosplay winner as Master Pogi; and Ed Ea of Cosplay Critic Center and Ynnok's Dress Shop.

Hosting was also very fun and exciting since the event was hosted by David D'Angelo (Kratos) and Hard Gay then later on the fun and comic tandem of Myke Silva and Dee Jocson (Hard Gay) made it even more exciting to the very end.

Winners of the cosplay competition were: Best Transformers - Wilbert Lerios (Megatron), Best Male - #84 Ros Faundo (Cloud Strife FFVII), Best Mecha/Armored-type - #23 Christian Umali (War Machine), Best Female - #19 Danica Eliz Andrada (HOTD), and Best Child - #7 Bolen Lareza (Vanguisher from Grand Chase).

For the advocacy side, NCPH had collected 2 large plastic bags of school supplies donation which is donated to Sulok Panginay Elementary School in Balagtas, Bulacan.
Lots of people are anticipating more cause-oriented events by the group. Bulakenyos who watched the event were even asking for another event in Bulacan soon.
