US ELECTIONS 2012: US Presidential Election Results Obama vs Romney
President Barack Obama wins a second term as he won in swing states and majority of the Battleground States. Obama got 281 Electoral Votes and Mitt Romney with 201 Electoral Votes according to CNN.com. Even if Obama did win the Republicans had accomplished major gains by getting 201 electoral votes for Romney against only 173 electoral votes for McCain in 1998.
