SM Foundation Scholarship Application opens anew
Christmas comes early for graduating high school students as SM Foundation Inc. (SMFI) opens its College Scholarship Program for the school year 2014 – 2105.
Now on its 20th year of advocating education among poor yet deserving public high school graduates, SMFI helps in making their dreams a reality with an opportunity to get a free college education.
To qualify, each applicant has to have a weighted average grade of at least 88% by the second or third grading period of the current school year and a total household income of less than P150, 000 per year.
Among the courses offered are Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Management, Computer Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Education, Accountancy and Pharmacy.
The last day of submission of filled-up application forms is on December 20. Application will be processed on a first come, first served basis starting January 2014. Qualified applicants will take an examination and an interview to be conducted by representatives from the SM College Scholarship program.
Interested parties may get an application form at the Administration Office and Customer Service Counter of The SM Store and SM Hypermarket in SM City Baliwag and SM City Marilao until December 20, 2013.
