Are you ready for a NINJA PARTY? A Party like no other in cinemas.
In a society were talking about topics of adulthood seems to be taboo, teenagers usually explore by their own and discover their sexuality. Starting September 30, 2015 the film NINJA PARTY shown during the Sinag Maynila Film Festival (SMFF) back in March 2015 will now be shown in selected cinemas in the Director’s Cut, rated R-18 by the FDCP---strictly For Adults Only.
The film was writen and directed by Jim Liberan and stars Odette Khan, Annicka Dolonius, Julz Savard, Bea Galvez, Elora Españo, Teresa Loyzaga, Denise Marasigan, Japo Parceo and Mariz Reyes.
Ninja Party follows the story of top female students of an elite Catholic high school discover their identities and sexualities amidst clashing values. Conflicts between themselves, their families, and their school force them to grow up and grow in friendship. They face slutshaming when a rumor spreads about their participation in a forbidden activity.
Sinag Maynila's version of the film was rated R-16 and won the SMFF People’s Choice i.e. it had the most number of tickets sold at that time. Now that the festival is over the FDCP is releasing the international version of the film.
Catch Ninja Party's never been screened version yet in selected cinemas beginning September 30. You can also watch the R-18 version at the UP Film Center on October 5,6,13,14,21, 2015. The film has a running time of 1 hour 41 minutes.
