Glee cast and star commits suicide
A Glee cast was found dead because of a possible suicide. The body of Mark Salling who plays the role of Noah Puckerman was found hanging on a tree near a river at Sunland, Los Angeles California. The body was found after one of his relatives reported that he was already missing for a couple of days.
Why did the Glee cast committed suicide?
Mark Salling was facing a criminal case of child pornography. The police found over 50,000 photos of minors and children under his possession. Because of this he was facing a possible conviction of 4-7 years imprisonment after he enter into a plea deal. The judgment for his case is expected to be handed over this March.
This case and the corresponding guilt and probably scandal was one of the possible angle of the Glees star suicide. Salling enjoyed a popular career as part of the Glee cast. In fact he was one of the most handsome among the characters.
Glee cast suicide reaction on social media
There were varying reactions when the news that Salling committed suicide and some of them are not really very enticing. It seems that people want to sympathize and mourn but then what he did was really something regrettable. Just imagine the sheer amount of child pornography he has.
Mark Salling had over 50,000 child pornography pictures, and over a hundred videos of children being abused. Some were as young as 3 or 5.— Margaret Gel (@MargaretGel) January 30, 2018
Don't come to me for sympathy. He pleasured himself to the rape and torture of children. He was less than an animal.
I won't rejoice over Mark Salling's death the way some are, but I won't mourn a pedophile, either. I pray his family and his victims find peace.— Lori (@booklovinggal) January 30, 2018
mark salling didn't commit suicide bc of mental health problems he committed suicide bc he was going to get beat up in jail every day for the next seven years for being a massive pedo PLEASE Y'ALL— cat e-thot (@cathoe69) January 30, 2018
I feel sad for a world that cannot understand the impact mental illness can have on an individual, we truly need to do better. The suffering Mark Salling must have been facing i don’t wish upon anyone, to watch people rejoice in his suicide is heartbreaking, #RipMarkSalling— DICE (@DICE11232) January 30, 2018
Don't click on Mark Salling's name if you're not prepared to repeatedly slap your own face in baffled amazement over the people mourning his loss and saying he just made a mistake with those 50,000 child porn pics he was charged with possessing.— Ian Fortey (@IanFortey) January 30, 2018
14 LGBT individuals commit suicide every day. About 33% of rape victims have suicidal thoughts. About 13% of rape victims will attempt suicide.— Brandon Cloud (@theclobra) January 30, 2018
Save your sympathy for them, not Mark Salling.
Let me be clear. Having compassion for #MarkSalling in no way minimizes his crimes, nor does it minimize the pain and devastation of the victims of those crimes. I'm just saying stop adding to his family's pain. This was their son. If you're without sin, feel free to cast stones.— Tim Davis (@loudmouthmuch) January 30, 2018
Indeed this is a sad story and a sad end for someone who could have been better. We have no right to judge a person if we do not know the personal circumstances that lead to why he did things.
