Just Another High School Shooting in the US - This Is America

10 dead in a mass shooting at Santa Fe High School in Texas. It is the 22nd school shooting in 2018 and 101st mass shooting in America this year. This is just so much even for someone who does not live in the United States. Children and families are not supposed to experience this. It is ironic that they want to ban abortions because it's murder but sends thoughts and prayers when kids are killed by guns. This is the new normal for America or so it seems.

Have you watched the music video of Childish Gambino entitled "This Is America." Perhaps this is one of the meanings of that song. The United States had become a playground for people with guns and their fixation to kill school children.

Have you watched how President Donald Trump reacted to his speech? There seems to be no angst and no anger in what he is saying - just sending thoughts and prayers.

Mass Shooting is the New Normal?

Heartbreaking moment as Santa Fe High School student is asked if she thought a shooting 'would not happen' at her school:

The reaction from the student above seems to indicate that this has just become the new normal. What is happening to the world. In the Philippines thousands of people had been killed in the guise of a drug war while in the United States innocent children are being mass murdered.
