Jollibee Funko Pop Sold Out and Hoarded

Jollibee yesterday announced that the Jollibee Funko Pop is sold out in all of its branches nationwide. It was reported that despite the ruling of 3 Funko Pops per 1 customer there are still people who try to hoard tons perhaps with the intention of reselling them at a higher price later.

The vinyl toy figure produced by Funko and Jollibee went on sale at AsiaPOP Comicon Manila 2018 and it drew a sizeable crowd. In fact, on opening day it has the longest line among all the attractions at the event. An estimated 6,000+ Funko Pops were sold during the event.

After APCC Manila 2018, the Jollibee Funko Pop went on sale on selected Jollibee branches and in just one day all of them are sold out.

Each toy figure is sold at Php650.

Update: August 8, 2018. The prices of Jollibee Funko Pop now reaches Php20,000. This is indeed and probably one of the most expensive of all.

A recent article from The Fanboy SEO noted that some of those or perhaps many of those who lined-up got more than one. They had an intention to resell them and get profit out of it. Although personally, this is not bad since it is business, the prizes we saw are really ridiculous.

Another one reported a scene at a local Jollibee store about a hoarding incident. Although the hoarder miscalculated the money that he will spend since he thought it comes free with a Jollibee Bucket Meal.
