Manila Coffee Festival 2020: Discover Philippines in Cups of Coffee
The Manila Coffee Festival (MCF) is back for a second year as Coffee Science Center takes the event to its rightful home – the vibrant and iconic city of Manila.
Hosted by the City of Manila, led by Mayor Isko “Yorme” Moreno, and presented by The Manila Hotel, the Manila Coffee Festival 2020 is a continuation of a tradition carried by its international counterparts – the New York Coffee Festival, London Coffee Festival, and Amsterdam Coffee Festival.
SINGLE ORIGIN BAR. Discover Philippines with cups of coffee at the Single Origin Bar. Presented by growers, roasters and brewers from different parts of the country, festival attendees get the opportunity to have a brew of the indigenous kind.
COFFEE CULTURE: “HUMANS OF COFFEE”. Be a witness to the stories behind those who have toiled to create that ideal brew. Produced for the festival, these mini documentaries pay tribute to the local farm growers and others in the coffee industry.
#BEANWOKE. This year’s MCF is more than a coffee lifestyle event, highlighting the perfect combination of coffee and culture. It’s also a fundraising event for our local coffee farmers. With its #beanwoke initiative, the MCF aims to help all coffee growers affected by the recent Taal Volcano eruption.
Get the full MCF experience with 80 booth exhibitors that feature various coffees, allied products and services, including product demos, talks and workshops, and even an MCF Café Music Lounge.
The Manila Coffee Festival will be held at The Manila Hotel’s Tent City, from March 13 to 15. Tickets are at PhP 150 each and will be sold at the venue. Tickets are also sold online via ticket2me.net until March 12.
